The Greenways Advisory Committee voted unanimously in early May to provide partial funding from their available free funds to purchase the platted but unbuilt house sites bordering the Great Blue Heron colony in south Bellingham.

On May 19, 2016, I called Whole Foods Pacific Northwest Regional office and asked to speak to Joe Rogoff, President of the Pacific Northwest Region. I wanted to speak to him about the new Whole Foods Market store that opened in Bellingham, Washington, on May 11, 2016, and the protest by a delegation of farm workers and their supporters from the local community, that occurred during the store’s grand opening ceremony. Plan is to replace the 110 student temporary buildings with a 400 student school. With two schools there now, traffic and parking are a mess.

Bellingham School District did not accurately answer questions contained in the Environmental Checklist submitted as part of their application to build a new Options High School. I refer specifically to the Transportation Chapter of the Checklist, page 36, questions F and H.
