Over the past several days I have had an exchange of emails with Chief Cook regarding this grant and the software it will purchase.

Unlike the Intrado threat system that the BPD wanted to purchase last year but was rejected by the city council who expressed concerns about privacy of data on individuals, this program appears to be non-intrusive in that regard. The Agenda bill for this hearing should be posted later today on the council’s website.
