I am posting this to let people know that my comment (shown in screenshot photo) on an “Elect Gary Jensen” Facebook post (shown in screenshot) was deleted, and I was blocked from being able to comment on that FB page.
It is the first comment I had ever made on the “Elect Gary Jensen” FB page. The reason I even commented on the post was because it came onto my FB feed since one of my FB friends had “Liked” it.
Gary Jensen’s support of Gateway Pacific coal terminal is a fact that he should not be able to hide from by deleting (or allowing his campaign to delete) FB comments, unless those comments are abusive or contain false allegations. Otherwise, as a politician, he should allow and tolerate all points of view on his campaign FB page.
Please share this post to get the word out that Gary Jensen (or his campaign) censors citizens who voice their criticism of his past actions as Mayor of Ferndale on his “Elect Gary Jensen” FB page.
This is just one more reason why I will be voting for Bobby Briscoe for Port.
