Thus, no information is available regarding changes to the biannual budget, or the status of implementation of the Sheriiff’s new record management system. The coordinated water system plan is being finalized with new payments to the consultant. There will also be a briefing on crime trends in the foothill area, which sounds like an excuse to buy more equipment or further militarize the Sherrif’s office, but we will not know unless someone goes to these committee meetings and tells us.
