So, what do you know about Jaime Arnett, a current Blaine City Council Member who is running for a seat on the Whatcom County Council for its 5th — or Coastal — District?

The number of ballots returned for the August 6, 2019 primary election in Whatcom County are creeping up there. According to the Whatcom County Auditor’s Current Election webpage, as of this morning their office has received 21,506 ballots out of 147,191 registered voters in the County. So that leaves a lot of people who still may be deciding who to vote for and may hope to gather some info quickly.

Luckily, Jaime Arnett is one of the few candidates who has not shied away from stating clear positions on their Facebook page. Besides a link to Jaime’s appearance at the League of Women Voters Whatcom County Council District 5 Candidate Forum, and a link to her endorsement interview and candidate questionnaire for the Riveters Collective, I thought I would share a few screenshots of some of Ms. Arnett’s Facebook posts for those who aren’t on Facebook, with links to the original posts for those who are on Facebook. Meanwhile, there are additional posts on her Facebook page showing endorsements and other activities that Ms. Arnett has been participating in during her campaign.
