Noisy Waters NW note: Here is the link to the entire WWU Students Open Letter which explains a chain of events starting in July and culminating in violent threats being made on November 22, 2015 against specific WWU students of color. In their opening, students say the letter is written, “to gain a more systematic understanding of the series of events that have taken place up until now, in contrast to the official statements made by Western Washington University Leadership, and to address a campus climate that has allowed for acts of violence.”
