Fascinating the way that Executive branch versions of Fast Tracking works. I just realized that the jail sales tax initiative is no longer in any discussion phase. It has totally moved to the consent agenda for tonight after a new presentation by a new commitee will happen this afternoon. Absolutely no additional time for public comment or public review. No discussion of what is happening with the Interlocal Agreement and Bellingham. It seems that they fully intend to take this entire proposal to the voters without open transparency and full discussion. 3 PM at County Council Chambers (right now) and again tonight at 7 PM.
